It is I. Do Not Be Afraid

Rough…stormy…terrified…

Kinda sounds like our world!

The world can be that way, particularly when rough things happen that are absolutely out of our control. Storms of life are always terrifying.

And when the disciples were frightened out of their mind, Jesus shows up to tell them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” Take a guess at what “It is I” is a translation of.

Yup. The Greek translation of YHWH. God’s presence changes everything.

No matter what we are going through today, we are never alone for the love of God, the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the presence of the Holy Spirit is with you.
